Hanna Bartels received her BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and her MFA in Fiction from Queens University of Charlotte, where she was the fiction co-editor of Qu Literary Magazine. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and two dogs. Her short fiction has appeared in The Sun Magazine, Brink, and Moon City Review, and was a finalist for the 2019 Indiana Review Fiction Prize and Split Lip Magazine’s Flash Fiction Contest, Vol. 2. Her nonfiction has appeared in The Manifest-Station and in Unspoken: Writers on Infertility, Miscarriage, and Stillbirth, an anthology from L10 Press.
